Stan Peal is a freelance writer in Charlotte, NC, and resident Playwright at Epic Arts repertory Theatre. Stan is the recipient of an NC/Arts/ASC Regional Artists Grant, an EST/Sloan Foundation Commission, and a Residency/Commission at the Commonweal Theater in Lanesboro, MN. Stan's Play "The Friar & The Nurse" was featured in the 2005 New York International Fringe Festival, and his musical "The Best Little Crackhouse in Philly" won top honors in New York's Bad Musicals Festival.
