John Justice, Chapel Hill, is the author of SAVAGES, which won a North Carolina Arts Council fellowship and of RANEY and WALKING ACROSS EGYPT, adaptations of Clyde Edgerton novels. With Jon Shain, he is the author of HOW WISTERIA BOUGHT THE FARM, a deconstructed Southern musical. In July, 2003, Shakespeare & Originals will premiere, THE TWO SAMS, a pair of one-act plays: PAPA KNEW RILKE concerns "Sam" Beckett, and VILE MELANCHOLY takes on "Sam" Johnson.
