Grace Ellis, a charter member of the Greensboro Playwrights Alliance, has been writing plays since 1976.  After more than twenty years as an English teacher with the North Carolina Community College system, she retired in 2001.  Current projects include comic one-acts about marriage in mid-life and a full-length political play set at an anti-war rally.
