David Brendan Hopes has won the North Carolina New Play Project and the Siena Playwriting competition, as well as being represented at the Last Frontier  Festival in Alaska, the Theatre Charlotte and Long Beach New Plays festivals.  His work has been selected for the Illinois State Inner Voices Festival, and New  York's Monday Morning Productions will be taking its successful production of 7 Reece Mews to Dublin.
