Annie Marks's award winning play The Best It's Ever Looked, performed at the Cherry Lane Theater in Manhattan, was selected from over 300 plays by the Village Voice at one the its top 15 "Voice Choices" in New York's 2004 Fringe Festival.  Her work has been performed at numerous locations in Manhattan and the surround area. 

Annie, who served as Artistic Director of StageWright! Developmental Theater and the Pullen Park Stage and Screenwriters Group from 1997 to 2001, considers herself equally lucky to have had the opportunity to direct and produce the work of many talented North Carolina writers.
